Aviator RB3025 Prescription Sunglasses

The Ray-Ban RB3025 Aviator is a classic and iconic style that always remains a firm favourite on the style scene. It was one of the first styles ever produced by Ray-Ban with the design characterised by its reflective teardrop shaped G15 lenses and slim metal frame. Designed specifically to protect the eyes of US Air Force pilots, Ray-Ban Aviators started to become particularly popular when General Douglas MacArthur landed on the beach in the Philippines during the Second World War wearing a pair. Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer made the Ray-Ban Aviator famous once again in the 1986 movie ‘Top Gun’ and today a whole host of style icons and celebrities including Megan Fox, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Ritchie, Brad Pitt, Madonna and Audrina Partridge have all been seen sporting their Ray-Ban aviators on a regular basis. There are a number of frame and lens colours available in the RB3025 style including silver, gold, pink and purple, some also with graduated lenses and with many of the recent models also featuring polarized lenses for maximum eye protection and visual quality. Ray-Ban aviators have a timelessly stylish finish and are flattering to all face shapes.
